Hwa Waterford: Better it, than the actual guitar it is meant to store and carry.Lots of stuff to think of. And, can be treated with just a modest indication with your name (name tag, initials or plate), to a smattering of stickers that reflect where you've been or what you are interested in, looking like a sea trunk of a vacationer tourist.What are you into? And realize that a cheaper (chipboard) case can end up totally covered and not lose its identity. An hardcase, I advise to be more modest though.What I've done in the past to one of mine (an old chipboard), because it was really wearing, was to cover it with wallpaper (using white glue) samples of different textures and color. Not only was it an improvement, but strengthened the walls (sides) of the case in the end. And on the top lid, I made a family crest (coat of arms) on the body-face. Just big enough to be noticed.
