Fritz Sisomphou: There is nothing that special you need to do. First determine if you have a sunny area or a shady area. Then when you buy your flowers at the nursery read the tag to see if they require shade or sun. Then just buy some potting soil and the pots you like. Don't buy pots that are very small because they dry out quickly and you need to water them constantly. The modern day roses are very easy to care for and require little maintenance. You need to get a modern shrub variety like the "Meidiland" varieties. There are too many other varieties to mention. So when you go to a nursery (not one of those big hardware stores) ask them to explain the different varieties and explain what you want. Then make sure to plant it in a large pot.
