Cliff Tyre: Most state statutes that I have seen simply state that no one who has received or is receiving treatment or has been hospitalized for a mental health disorder without a certificate of rehabilitation may purchase a firearm. My guess would be that your situation applies. The current legislation seeks to remove as many firearms from the people as possible without completely abolishing the 2nd amendment. Your best bet would be to attempt to purchase one. You won't be arrested or reported to the police if you are denied.
