Donita Desjardin: Ya, Dude a bus can at least get you close to your destination........then hike the rest of the way...ALEXANDER SUPERTRAMP!
Marvel Mcaulay: Take the bus, Greyhound goes to a lot of different destinations including Yosemite by taking the bus you all can kick back and relax enjoy the scenery. Local transportation in some communities like Los Angeles will also get you close to where you want, for example the city bus goes to Mt. Wilson observatory and the Jet Propulsion Lab both are starting points for hiking trips. So modify your plans a little and enjoy the bus ride.
Vernita Robberson: do you know any one you could pay to drive you guys out there and back rent a limo or party bus you could get a taxi
Caterina Yeargan: The bus doesn't seem too practical to me. Hauling all the camping gear on the bus??? carrying it to the camp ground???30 year old car - you probably drive it every day, you use it at least 4 hours a week. Take your car, driv! e it carefully and take it easy. If you are worried about driving it for 4 hours, it probably isn't safe to be driving it at all. Bring a good credit card for emergencies, Have it checked out before you leave. Bring the title with you so if it dies on the trip, you can sell it or give it away. Camping is an adventure, pretend you are a settler going cross country in a horse and wagon. You'll remember the trip forever....Show more
