Loriann Carrigan: Arizona does not seem to offer a Non-operational registration option. From what I can determine you either follow the advice of the DMV or simply allow the registration to expire until you are ready to re-register the car. Then you would file a form 48-9402 "Registration Penalty Fee Waiver - Non Use" which you can download from the ADOT website.
