Miguel Densley: Insignia has been known to have many problems with their speakers. Go with an LG for $250 it will sound excellent.
Ronnie Panas: Insignia is the "house" brand for Best Buy. There are at least three brand X manufacturers in the far east that make Insignia brand products for Best Buy. It is made to sell for a price. Quality and performance are secondary considerations as far as the manufacturers are concer! ned. Do yourself a favor and stick with known brand names. Check out the Sony website (sony.com) They have two models that may meet your requirements. The HDV-E570 ($449) or the BDV-E370 ($399). Samsung also makes a couple models that may work for you. Even the well known brand names such as Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, will have the lowest end of their product line made by one of those brand X outfits but at least they will stand behind the product. With Insignia you may never learn who made it. If anything goes wrong you will be at the mercy of the retailer....Show more
