Germaine Tieken: Depends on what you want to take with you. I just came back from Barcelona. On the way to Barcelona, a woman sitting next to me had an AT&T phone. She had signed up for their "international roaming package". When she landed, she immediately started making calls back to her family in New York. But, she mentioned her other feathers (email, text messaging, web browser) did not work while we were going through baggage claim and customs.I have Verizon Wireless. I got one their new International Blackberry phones. I noticed I had a signal when we landed in Barcelona. I made several calls, someone called me, and my email, text worked great. Rosella Figliola: There aren! 't really any cell phone plans for a good rate for only a month. If you're bringing a lap top, you could use Skype. It's a call over the internet. You'd need a headphone though. It's 2 Euro cents a minute and a 10 Euro cent connection cost. I live in Germany now and thaat's what I've been using.
