What's the best drugstore makeup remover?
answers1: ELF!
answers2: For my eyes: Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover.
- It takes off my eye makeup very easily when used with a cotton ball,
and it never stings at all.

For my face: Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser.
- With just a little bit, it takes off all my foundation & if I have
leftover eye makeup residue, it's gentle enough to use on the eyes and
it leaves my face fresh and clean!

I hope this helps & good luck! :)
answers3: Either the Neutrogena Oil Free Make Up Remover or the Sonia
Kashuk eye make up remover. The you tube beauty users are always
saying great things about the Sonia Kashuk eye make up remover. I've
used both and prefer Sonia because while the Neutrogena does get
everything off and it doesn't burn, it does leave a greasy oily
feeling on your skin.

you can check reviews for these products on makeupalley.com

good luck finding something you like!
answers4: Sonia Kashuk! I love that stuff its very comparable to the
Bi Facial by Lancome i think at least!
If you want towelettes try getting the say yes to cucumbers They ar
very soothing adn the towelettes arent scratchy like some of them i
have tried in the past
answers5: i use neutrogena's makeup remover cleansing towelettes
i use maybelle waterproof mascara and even though its not one swipe
and done its good gets it off and its not like im trying to wipe my
whole eye off....also i have contacts and i do have to wash my eye off
after so it doesnt get on the contact and make my vision blurry.. it
does NOT sting and i love that =) hope this helps
answers6: you need to attempt "undemanding". My eyes are very delicate
and a few factors in some eyemakeup removers dry out my pores and skin
and lashes and then they start to interrupt so purchase a gentle one.
answers7: olive oil...it doesnt clog pores and natural
answers8: you can try ELF makeup removers
only $3 and i think they work well

what stores can i find good smokey eye makeup at ?
answers1: MAC!!! MAC consmetics is known for it's bold color
pallette. They have every color under the sun and you can do what I
do which is buy all of my smokey shadows in a compact together. They
usually let you customize 4 colors to make up a compact for under $35.
They also have a pigment line that allows the shadow to stay on much
longer, in cases where you might want a dramatic look for a night out
on the town or an every day smokey look.
answers2: ive always found that walgreens has an amazingly good
selection of makeup products.
how do you apply makeup to cover up pimples?
answers1: First apply your foundation. I would reccomend Neutrogena
Skin Clearing foundation (it has medicine in it to help clear
breakouts). Then apply concealer that is a shade lighter than your
skin and blend. To finish dust face with translucent powder to
eliminate shine. It's easy and wont clog pores! :)
answers2: I would not put any makeup on a pimple because it clogs your
pores and tends to make it look crusty!
answers3: 1. dab the color that matches your skin tone to your finger.
2. then put it on the blemish.
3. rub until even with your face.
answers4: Sry, but for now u need to focus on making the pimple
dissapear by cleansing it or i spose u could freeze it [:

then once its gone u dont have to wory about that ^.^
answers5: ok first go to the store and find a foundation or liquid
make up that matches your skin tone. i reccommend Covergirl Clean
Makeup. it comes in a small glass bottle witha blue cap. Then buy a
powder ccompact of your skin color. first apply the liquid makeup to
your face with a little triangle sponge for makeup then apply the
powder when your done. it really works! i do it everyday :)
answers6: cover the spot with light foundation and blend it, try
applying it to the spot using an eye makeup brush or a lip gloss
stick.
Then apply white powder over, to get rid of the redness. After that
blend in some bronzer to match up with ur skin, soo theres not just a
white spot.
make sure u put power over the foundation and u use a brush if u dont
the foundation will come of and the redness will apear again.
answers7: its really simple. just get a SMALL dap of concealor and
use it to cancel out the reddness. concealor doesnt make it look like
the pimples not even there, and if you try to use it like that it will
cause thezit to look crusty and attract even more unwanted attention
to it.
answers8: Look for blemish concealers that:

Are high-quality
Are oil-free
Will not clog pores
Matches your skin tone
Has a green or yellow base or undertone - this helps offset the
redness associated with pimples

Good brands...

Dermablend Smooth Concealer: This product was named a best beauty buy
from InStyle Magazine, and a little goes a long way to disguise those
unwanted facial spots.

MAC Studio Finish Concealer: This concealer provides excellent
coverage and lasting results.

Neutrogena SkinClearing oil-free concealer: This highly-rated formula
not only conceals pimples, but has ingredients to heal them and
prevent new blemishes from forming.

Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage: This concealer has is recommended by
many beauty experts and can be used for pimples as well as other
blemishes like broken veins.

How to do it

First, apply an oil-free foundation as to your skin as you normally
would, using light and blended layers if necessary. Next, apply the
concealer gently and specifically to the affected spot, using either:

Completely clean fingertips
The tip of a clean cosmetic sponge
Small facial makeup brush
Clean cotton swab
Then let the concealer dry completely. Once the makeup is dry, it's
important to dust the area lightly with an oil-free pressed or loose
powder to set the foundation and concealer.

Note: Be careful not to over apply - applying a second layer of
concealer sometimes backfires and ends up softening and removing the
concealer.
answers9: You need concealer and foundation.
First you should get your concealer and dab a few dots under your
eyes, to hide dark circles. Then put some dabs over blemishes that
need to be covered.
Then you apply your foundation.
For liquid, i would get a duo fiber stippling brush(like the 187 at
MAC, but if your on a budget, go to www.coastalscents.com, they have
the same thing but for only 7.00!) put some foundation on your hand,
and then get the brush and stipple and swirl on your face.
For powder foundation(loose powder), get a buffer or kabuki brush, and
pour some into the cap, and buff onto your face.
Hope that helps!

Can you hire your own makeup artist?
answers1: you can but do a google search to find one
answers2: Yes you can. You can hire a makeup artist to come in and
help you update your makeup and teach you some new tips and tricks.
The best way to find a makeup artist is to search on craigslist and
model mayhem. Generally speaking, on ModelMayhem.com you're going to
find more serious makeup artists and you'll also have a chance to see
photos of their work. Search around until you find someone you like
and give them a call. Good luck!
pubic hair or no pubic hair?
answers1: Hair = Adult
No Hair = 3rd grader
answers2: If you want to shave or wax your pubic hair then that is up
to YOU, don't change your body just because you think guys might like
it better, and ask yourself if a guy did not like your body as it is
naturally is he really the sort of guy you want anywhere near your
body? Do you think a guy so ignorant of women's bodies would be able
to pleasure you sexually?

Girls and women are supposed to have pubic hair, it is a sign of
sexual maturity, it protects our genitals and holds onto scents that
attract the opposite sex. Although some guys may appreciate a clean
shaven vulva the majority will have no problem what-so-ever with pubic
hair and just as many guys prefer pubic hair as don't, some guys are
even creeped out by girls with no pubic hair as it makes them look
like pre-pubescent girls. Seriously, leave it as intended, just keep
it trimmed and maybe go get waxed around your bikini line if you feel
comfortable with that.
answers3: I prefer shaved myself, but there is no across the board answer.
answers4: no public hair
answers5: no hair at all!!! I'm talking completely smooth, no stubble
or nothing-absolutely nothing sexier than that!!
answers6: I am not a guy but I personally don't like to shave mine all
the way. I like to leave just a little. To me its kinda creepy to
shave it all, I feel like a little girl.
answers7: Pubic hair, now and always. I do not shave but then I have
only a moderate amount of hair. Why shave there? Out of the answers
about only one gives a reason and it is "i hate when my vagina gets
hairy". This could be solved with a trim rather than a shave. I feel
bad that girls are socially pressured to shave their arm pits and
legs. They should not have to put out the effort, suffer the pain and
scrapes, the stubbly hairs trying to grow back. The itch of hair
trying to grow back would make me not do it twice. Plus I would miss
the beauty and unique individuality of pubic hair and styles and
swirls. Finally, I hope no one is doing it for just because someone
else demands they do it; and if he does demand his mate to shave down
there, then he should at least do it also.

Does shaving the public area make adults look similar to children?
Shaving is clearly stylish with the younger generation. I suspect it's
partly from the porn industry, which the guys watch incessantly and
then try to make their girl friends act like the women in the prom
movies. These porn movies are made to please guys who primarily
support the industry. Most women take a glance and that's enough:
their focus is not in superficial action but inner feelings. Porn
would die out if it depended on women to buy the movies.

It is said guys will look bigger shaved. Who cares how he or she
looks? Genital it seems were made more for using than looking at; and
if I looked at them, I would want to see natural pubic hair. I guess
it appears that shaving makes every one look more similar so no one
stands out whereas natural pubic hair is so individualistic, even a
bit wild as in lush green jungle.
answers8: Well I have a lot a guy friends and honestly it doesn't
matter to them if its hairy or not all that matters is that its clean
and smells good, so do what you feel comfortable with.

Do hair straighteners damage hair?
answers1: its depends on your hair type, but in most cases in burns
the hair, if you use a certain spray for straighteners it should help,
but over time it does. and they work best on long hair, but it will
still work on short hair too.
answers2: they do damage it to some extent but it's usually worth
it.You can always buy some heat protectant shampooo (: and yes they do
work on short hair.
answers3: If you use them everyday and no heat protectant then YES,
the heat will damage your hair. I recommend that you don't use it
everyday and that you use a heat protectant. Also, using a high
quality straightener will help a lot!
answers4: Only if its a cheap straightener and/or you arnt properly
protecting your hair first
answers5: It doesn't matter what you pit on your hair before or after
either way it gets damaged.

When shopping for a hair straightener think about how much your gonna
be using it and how big it should be and how hot it should get.
For me because my hair is medium length, very curly and medium
textured i got one that was about 1 1/2" and made sure it got extra
hot incase i was in a hurry and because i planned on using close to
everyday i wanted to minimize damage by getting on with tourmaline(has
ions when heated too) plates and ions(to make it shinier by closing
the pores in the hair).
has a LOT of useful information... I'm just being lazy....
answers6: yes and they do work on short hair but you can lessen the
damage by takeing a heat protectant and lightly sprtizing your hair.
answers7: If you mean the straightening irons, yes, they do damage
hair. The implement itself is not the problem, but the people that
use them. Most do not know how to use them correctly, and overheat
their hair, or do it when the hair is not completely dry. Moisture in
the hair when heated will create steam and "explode" the hair on the
inside and then in a few months, after you've forgotten what you have
done, will the hair come apart and you don't know why. Some of the
heat protection products may work a bit, but proper use of the irons
is what you need to do. Remember that once the damage is done, you
cannot repair it.

Everything works. But you need to use the right tool in the right way
to get the results you want. Using the wrong tool in the wrong way on
the wrong hair will always create a mess.
answers8: When you apply any type of heat to your hair, it will cause
damage. The trick is finding the right PRODUCTS to use to help this.

You can buy different kind of straighteners that will cause less
damage. example being, Ceramic ones are less harmful than a metal
ones. Also, if you buy shampoo and conditioner that repair, hydrate,
or even are made for straight hair this will help as well.

It IS okay to straighten or curl your hair daily, as long as you are
taking care of it with the products you are using.
answers9: If you don't use it right.

I've been straightening my hair practically everyday for the past 7
years and everyone says my hair is the softest they have ever felt.
It's shiny still and great. Just use good shampoo, don't hold the flat
iron on your hair super long and not on wet hair!
answers10: They only damage your hair if you don't do the proper prep
before using them.

Make sure your hair is completely dry before straightening, and use a
thermal protection product before any heat comes in contact with your
hair (this means hair dryers too). You can buy a thermal protecting
spray at any big stores like Walmart or Target for a couple of
dollars.

They work on all types of hair and all lengths. Make sure you don't
leave the plates on the hair too long, just a quick clean swipe, or
else it can fry your hair.

Hope this helps! :)

but over time it does. and they work best on long hair, but it will
still work on short hair too.

hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair?
answers1: Well I naturally have thin mousy blonde hair.
Last year I died it black and it looked absoloutly AWFUL.
Not because It didnt go with my skin tone like some people said it
wouldnt, infact from the front it looked lovely.
but from the back It looked like I had bald patches! My hair honestly
isn't very thin, its maybe a little thinner than average but not very
thin at all. So I would say dark hair with a light skin tone looks
awwwful.
To make your hair look fuller and thicker, choose something close to
your skin shade:
very pale white skin: ash blondes and light browns(colour with a blue
undertone.
Pinky tint/ pale white: Strawberry blonde
average white skin tone: any of the previously listed hair colours.
Olive skin tone: light-medium brown(highlights look nice too)
Slightly bronzey brown: Medium brown to medium dark chocolate
tones(red tones work well)
Brown skin tone: darkest brown to black.
very dark skin: ash black/ redish black/ automatic black/ cosmic blue.

If you have thick hair these rule don't apply at all.
In general I think having dark brown hair will make it look thicker,
infact it may backfire completely.

HOWEVER although people say dying your hair is bad for you it may be
worth dying it a colour very close to what your natural hair is or a
colour that appeals to your skin tone. Dying your hair has been
prooved to thicken it, so does blow drying it as it opens the pours.
Try adding curls to it for more volume.
OR if you want straight hair with volume heres a few steps to give you
BIG, STRAIGHT hair* :)

step one: Get layers cut into it
step two: wash it without using conditioner
step three: hang your hair upside down and blowdry it from there.
step four: once it is nearly dry spray texturising spray(salt water
works) or simply volumising hair spray or mist over it all and
carrying on blow drying upside down.
step five: If you want sleek hair brush through it, If you want to go
for a beachy look leave it how it is and brush any tangles out.
*this probably wont work if you have curls, if you have curls, dry it
first then straighten it then blow dry it upside down. But if you have
curls you probably dont need to volumise it anyway

good luck
answers2: 1.yes
2.no. it will be thinner looking, but
I think that you will not be able to make your hair thicker, but you
should use a volumizing product that you just massage into your hair
bye herbal essences which also reduces frizz.
answers3: post some pics
answers4: you know there is only one way to tell if your hair is really blonde
answers5: 1. not really
2. i think it will make it look thiner
answers6: I have dark brown thick hair naturally. When it is dark
brown it looks healthy, shiny, and looks like I have less hair &
thinner. Thats just an illusion, kind of like when you wear black
clothes, you look thinner. When I get really blonde highlights all
over, it looks really thick, damaged, and looks like I have a ton of
hair and you can see every layer and angle.

1.) Dark brown thin hair doesnt look bad.
2.) Dark hair wont really make your hair look thicker if you have thin
hair to begin with. There are alot of products out there to make your
hair look more volumized such as shampoos. Also make sure you are
taking a vitamin everyday and eat proper nutrition. Your hair will get
healthier.

What accessories would go with this outfit?
answers1: I think your outfit would be fun! It sounds like you put a
lot of effort into thinking this outfit up and i think that any guy
you are trying to impress with it (or any friend) would be impressed.
Well, since you have layered hair just keep it down or you can put it
in braids or pig tails. Maybe you could go with a plain brown purse
with anything added to it. Maybe if you could get a color the color of
your Boots. Try not to get any patterns but bold
I don't think you should do TOO many Accessories it could be to risky
to get out of color
answers2: thick gold hoop earings nd enything else thats coor gold

you want to match that shade of brown with gold don't go silver
answers3: Yea I agree with the first person you want to wear gold. and
some colored shirt underneath that coat like a dark bright blue and
maybe boots ... it would look just as good with nice sneakers too.
answers4: Maybe some fun green and brown braclets and marble look mix
of grren and borwn earings.
Take your shortest hair and pull it back and put a pony tail in.
what colour r ur eyes?
if they're brown do light shimmer green.
if they're green do a light light hazel brown.
a little bit eye liner.
maybe brown mascara.
and a realy lightish blush.
and a glossy gloss.
answers5: Something gold perhaps a nice gold bracelet like you get in
the packs??
you can get browns and golds for about £1.50 in any claires accessories...
and then a nice set of gold earrings *i would not advise hoop it might
make it look slutty*

perhaps a short dangled set?

hope you like my idea's :)

Happy 2009 From Me :)

Is the Sandisk Sansa e200 Series Compatible w/ iPod Accessories?
answers1: i doubt it... the connector dock might look the same, but it
probably isnt.
I think you should contact the manufacturer or read the F.A.Q. section
in their site bout your e200 series.
Note that forcing an accessory that wasn't made for your mp3 player
might cause a malfunction and it might not be covered by your
warranty.
Even if it looks the same, the internal design of the players
(Electronic circuits) might be working under different specifications.
answers2: new ipod nano because u can receive pictures watch videos
and pay interest to songs yet when the sandisk sansa does the same
element then both one reason I have the hot ipod and its slimmer
atleast i imagine that is i'd do the hot ipod satisfied thanksgivng

Wii accessories?
answers1: 1st off component cables are a must have for DH TV owners,
it really livens up the graphics and colors are way more vibrant! the
only accessories i can personally recommend is the Nyco charging dock.
for 30 bucks you can get a 2controller charging dock with battery
packs and sweet battery covers that double as very legit grips. it
charges way quick too!
answers2: You for sure have to get Super Paper Mario.
answers3: it helps the grphics
answers4: The Wii comes with a composite AV cable, Wii remote and
Nunchuk. This is the order I would buy accessories:

1) Buy Wii Play which comes with a Wii remote and 9 games.
2) Buy the Nyko dual charger with 2 battery packs.
3) Buy component cable - improve graphics and clarity
4) Buy memory card (buy a cheap 1GB SD card for $10-$15)
5) Buy 2 Gamecube controllers at $10-$20 each.
6) Buy 1 Gamecube memory card for $20.

Long term, you can buy 2 more Wii remotes at $40 each, but this is an
expensive investment. You can easily spend $200-$300 in accessories
to get full 4 players to play simultaneously.

Going to a fashion college ?
answers1: I want to get into the fashion industry aswell.
Nope your not making the wrong choise, depends what you want to do in
the fashion industry, I want to be a theatre/film wardrobe assistant!
Either try London college of fashion, Plymouth arts college is really
good aswell. I'm going bristol college and doing art & design which
also includes Fashion. Try contacting fashion companies, cat walk
shows, theatres and ask for work experience to get a foot up in the
fashion industry. hope this helps!
answers2: Yes,
I have been to multiple colleges to learn about fashion, design, and
business in the fashion industry.

I can tell you that it will not be easy.

This was a dream of mine, and I had wanted and strive towards working
in the fashion industry for my entire life. I had wanted to be apart
of it, and read all I could about the background of it before I went
into it.

It wasn't easy. It was extremely difficult getting into the business,
and even studying at classes. A lot of the time I wouldn't want to
go, and would just want to drop out, but because of my love for the
business, that's what kept me going.

The fashion industry is a cut throat business. You really only sink,
or swim. You either are extremely well at what you do, or get tossed
along side with the others.

If you are dedicated, and determined, and destined to be doing this,
then you will know it, and you will be in the right place. You will
succeed in this industry if you have the drive to.

I think that you should take classes if you are interested. It won't
hurt right? And only you will be able to truly answer for yourself if
this is the right decision for you. Nobody else will be able to
answer that for you.

Most designers never see the runway at New York Fashion Week, and are
usually not even invited. It is extremely hard to establish a
working, functioning, mass produced fashion house. When nowadays, all
you need to do is be on a reality TV show, and you have a clothing
company!

For regular people like us, it makes it that much harder to get
established. And right now, so many people want to be in the fashion
industry because they think its trendy, and fashionable, and posh, but
don't actually understand how hard it is.

Some things I would suggest to you is this...

Become the master of your craft.
Read, learn, and memorize all you can about the fashion industry.
People will be surrounding you that know everything- names, middle
names, designers, co-workers, publishers, fashion houses- you need to
get a step up and begin learning all you can about the business you
want to be in. You always want to be ahead of your competition.
ALWAYS.

Next, take classes and begin designing.
Start creating your own looks, buy a mannequin. Start sewing. Take
sewing classes. You should always be either doing something about
fashion, or creating it. That's the only way to get ahead is to keep
practicing.

READ, READ, READ.
This is the most important information I can give you. You should
always be reading something about fashion. Always stay current with
all of your European, and American fashion magazines. They will
always be current with fashion hits and misses.

If this is not what you want to be doing, you will soon realize that
after really changing your whole life to revolve around the fashion
world.

That's what I did. I went to a fashion college here in Chicago,
completed my master degree early, and began to then take business, and
merchandising classes. During this time I was also taking sewing
classes (which I already had known how to do, but went to pick up
techniques) and began to open my own business out of my little one
bedroom apartment.

I didn't let anyone or anything stop me from doing what I loved. And
that was designing clothes. I had dreamed of doing this since I was a
little girl, and couldn't even imagine doing anything else. Now, I
didn't learn everything from college, a lot of my business sense was
established on my own, but it did give me a great base to learn and
expand my knowledge on the subject.

I am now able to run my own company, out of my own spot, which I payed
for from saving money, and have the company the way I want it.

So you see, there are multiple outlets to go into when going into the
world of fashion. Everything from a retail manager, to working at DVF
in New York City. There are many different avenues you can take, and
if you are driven, and want it, well then, nothing should be holding
you back.

Good luck to you, I am behind any woman that does what SHE wants, and
follows her dreams. You can do it, if you want it.

Stay fashionable!

self aware approximately her top. The time period good heeled got here
from the train of dressed in top heels. The French Revolution

well guns. Just like tattoos and g-strings in these days, as soon as a

century, top heels had turn out to be trendy shoes amongst ladies.

How much do humanities PhDs make?
answers1: i am getting my phd at the university of michigan in a
humanities field. most people who write really interesting,
innovative dissertations and get independent funding along the way
generally can get a decent job after they graduate. but those are a
lot of maybes. you really need to have something interesting to say
within your field if you are going to get a job. basically, you DO
want to get into a top program. this means not only gaining
admission, but getting the school to fund you all the way. it makes
NO sense to go into debt to get your phd in the humanities.

for a first job out of grad school, humanities phds can make anywhere
from 35k to 50k. it really depends on your luck the year you enter
the job market, which varies wildly from year to year.
answers2: Very low wages $45,000 for the long term investment you are
making in years of schooling, escpecially since most bachelor's
holding graduates will start out earning more than you.
answers3: It depends on several factors: most critically, whether you
are hired at

-an urban or rural college
-a poorly funded state university / poorly-endowed private college or
a well-endowed private college
- a History dept. or a Religion dept. or another dept.
- the ranking (prestige, reputation) of said college in your discipline
- the amount of pull the department chair has with the college's
administration

Urban colleges will pay more because of the higher cost of living
associated with their location.
Well-endowed colleges will pay more because their endowments support
higher faculty salaries.
History usually (but not always) pays better than either Religion or Lit.
Departments with stellar reputations are sometimes better funded than
their less-stellar counterparts.
Chairs who are owed favors by / work well with / suck up to / are
treasured by / the administration can sometimes leverage salary caps.

Depending on a combination of these factors, a beginning salary for a
newly hired professor on the tenure track, beginning at assistant
professor, could range from 35K to 70K. Most often, somewhere in the
40-50K range is a reasonable expectation.

Your best bet is to check out the upcoming (first week of September, I
think) salary edition of the Chronicle of Higher Education. Your
library (and maybe even your department) has a subscription. This
edition will provide average salaries in every discipline, at every
level, in both state and private institutions.
